How the Daily Board works: rounds, rank, the close, the overnight check and what is built the next evening.
# Daily Board Rules
These rules explain the Daily Board at https://stigmera.games/board in plain words. The Placement Terms are the contract behind every contribution; the Content Policy says what we build.
## 1. What the board is
The board shows game ideas that people placed for money. A round lasts about a day. The rank of an idea is the total money placed on it in the round. Anyone may post an idea, and anyone may add money to any idea on the board.
## 2. How to place an idea
1. Open https://stigmera.games/board and write the idea: a title, a short pitch, a display name if you want one, and an e-mail address so that we can reach you. Brand assets go in the brand fields (Asset Terms). 2. The idea is checked against the Content Policy before anything is paid. If the check declines it, nothing is created and nothing is charged, and you see what to change. 3. An idea that passes gets a code and is held for 60 minutes. Pay on the linked Buy Me a Coffee page and type the code in the required question. 4. The idea appears on the board with your contribution as soon as the payment reaches us. To add to an idea already on the board, open it and pay with its code the same way.
An idea that is not paid within 60 minutes leaves the board; you can post it again.
## 3. What every contribution gets
- Placement of the idea on the board for the current round, with its running total. - Your display name among the idea's backers. - A mention at the scheduled board readings on the stream. - An entry in the round archive.
This service is delivered immediately. **Contributions are final. Being outranked is not a reason for a refund. There is no chance element and no draw, the money is not pooled, and nothing is paid out to anyone taking part.**
## 4. What the top-ranked idea gets
When the round closes, the top-ranked eligible idea is built live on the next stream, published on https://stigmera.games as a Lab game, and its backer receives the Build Licence. The scope of the build is set by the Placement Terms: a small browser game we judge feasible in one stream.
The result of a round is announced on the board as soon as the round closes and kept in the round archive at https://stigmera.games/board, and the game appears on https://stigmera.games on the night it is built.
If the top-ranked idea is not eligible and is not fixed by the start of that stream, we build the next eligible idea of the same round instead. The skipped idea moves into the next round with its total, once.
If a round has no eligible idea, we build from our own backlog and the round archive says so.
## 5. Eligibility
An idea is eligible when it follows the Content Policy, can be built in one stream, and its brand assets, if any, follow the Asset Terms. Every idea is checked automatically before payment and by us before the build. An idea that breaks these rules may be hidden or declined at any time, without a refund.
## 6. Timing
- A round closes at the end of the daily stream. Today that is 00:00 Moscow time (21:00 UTC); the board always shows the exact closing time and a countdown. - **Last minutes:** a contribution that changes #1 during the final 2 minutes moves the close 2 minutes later, at most 10 times in a round. A contribution that does not change #1 does not move it. - A contribution counts when it reaches the board. A payment that reaches the board after the close counts in the next round. - A day without a stream does not close the round: the round runs on to the end of the next stream. - We may change the schedule and the cadence, including to fewer rounds a week. A change is announced on the board at least 24 hours before it applies. A round that has contributions is never withdrawn. - If the board is paused (for example, the payment service is down), the close waits until the board resumes.
## 7. Amounts
- $5 to place a new idea. - $1 to add to an idea on the board. - To take #1, an idea needs at least $5 more than the current leader; each idea shows the amount as "Add $X to take #1".
While payments go through Buy Me a Coffee, any amount at or above the minimum is accepted, and the rank is simply the total. Card fees may be added at checkout.
## 8. Your text and assets
The Terms of use of https://stigmera.games apply to the text of your idea: we may use ideas without any obligation to you. Ideas and assets you send to the board are not returned; the round archive keeps them. You are responsible for any brand, logo or mascot you add (Asset Terms). We credit backers on the game page; we may not be able to name everyone inside the game itself.
## 9. Streams and platforms
The board runs on https://stigmera.games only. YouTube, Twitch and other platforms that carry the stream are not sponsors of the board and have no part in it.
## 10. Contact and disputes
